Krisis aka Phil Sure was also part of the Dance Concept promotion team from the start. He started DJing in his youth at his home in East London using a cassette player and single belt driven turntable to record mix tapes which would be played by the DJ at Lea Valley Ice Rink. Having come on a long way from those early humble days, Phil Sure, like the rest of the Dance Concept Cru played on the London Pirates on stations who’s music policy ranged from House & Garage to Jungle / Drum & Bass. Krisis produced ‘Catch Ya’, a snappy little number which pushed its way onto the Legend Mix CD before being released as the b-side of DC004. He has also featured on Dance Concept Digital, collaborating with Benny V with the release ‘Maximum Overdrive’ and showing off his versatility with the smooth sounding ‘Skin Deep’.
